Welcome From Daniel Wesp

With the support of Mayor Gina Garbolino, and current members of the High School Board, Garry Genzlinger, Paige Stauss, and Jack Duran (Supervisor Elect), I am eager to devote the time and energy that our students, teachers and community deserve in fulfilling my duties as a member of the Roseville Joint Union High School District. Growing up around family members who have devoted their lives to education, I recognize that the teachers of this district are a key that can unlock our children’s potential for future greatness. Teachers are more than just another expense that the district must shoulder.

I believe that the District must be fiscally responsible in this time of continued financial uncertainty. Board members need to be flexible and creative in their policy decisions without taking for granted the excellent teachers of the District.

As a Deputy District Attorney, protecting the public is an everyday endeavor. Ensuring that our students continue to have a safe and secure learning environment is a top priority for me. Schools need quality opportunities for every student in a variety of mediums such as music, art, drama, sports, and leadership. It is important that parents are aware of district goals and achievements; communication with parents is essential.

It is a high priority that this district performs as a cohesive unit. Members of this board, district personnel, teachers and staff must have one goal: to provide the highest quality education.

I am a graduate of the California Public School system. In high school I appreciated many opportunities including the music program, the wrestling team and advanced placement classes. I attended the University of Southern California where I was a member of the marching band and the cycling team. I graduated with a B.A. in Political Science, a minor in Public Policy and Planning and an emphasis in Communications. I then attended McGeorge School of Law which has prepared me for a successful career as a Deputy District Attorney.
